Koenig Solutions is an Indian information technology (IT) training and certification company headquartered in New Delhi. Founded in 1993 by Rohit Aggarwal, the firm delivers vendor certification courses and has been reported as an authorized training partner for vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco and Red Hat.[1][2] In May 2013 the company opened a training campus in Delhi that Indian media reported the company claimed was the world's largest offshore IT training facility.[2] Koenig drew wider press attention in 2013 when multiple outlets reported that Edward Snowden had taken short courses at the company in 2010.[3]
History
[edit]Koenig Solutions was founded in 1993 by Rohit Aggarwal in New Delhi.[1] Coverage in 2010 noted plans to open a training centre in Kigali, Rwanda, as part of international expansion.[4] In 2013, Indian media reported the opening of a large training campus in Delhi with on-site classrooms and testing facilities.[2]
Operations
[edit]The company offers information-technology certification and training programmes across vendor technologies, delivered in India and to international learners.[1] Reporting on the Delhi campus described purpose-built facilities for classroom instruction and exam delivery.[2]
Partnerships and recognition
