John O’Sullivan is an American travel entrepreneur, tour operator, and media creator based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is best known as the founder of the short-form video series One Minute Tours and the walking-tour company Depot Adventures.

Career

[edit]O’Sullivan founded Depot Adventures in Melbourne, Australia, later expanding the brand to Minnesota.[1] The company offers walking tours highlighting local history and culture in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.[2]
One Minute Tours
[edit]In 2021, O’Sullivan launched One Minute Tours, a social-media-based project featuring short videos filmed in a single take that highlight historical, cultural, and travel-interest sites in Minnesota and beyond.[1] He told MPR News that the idea grew out of his walking-tour work: “I give three-hour tours… already I have 180 one-minute tours I can publish.”[1] The project quickly attracted attention from Minnesota broadcast outlets including CBS Minnesota,[3] KSTP,[4] and KARE 11.[2]
