Ethan C. Kelly (born December 3, 2002) is an American political pundit. He is known for his YouTube channel Let's Talk Elections, launched in 2017. In the 2024 United States presidential election, he worked on Kamala Harris's campaign's social media team, Kamala HQ.

Early life and education

Ethan C. Kelly was born on December 3, 2002, in Annapolis, Maryland. His father is Irish and his mother is Filipino. A Boy Scout, he grew up in Bowie, Maryland[1][2] and attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where he graduated salutatorian in 2021. In high school he was a news editor for the school newspaper, The Raider Review, and was elected class president. He also competed on his school's varsity swim team and was a member of the National Honor Society and Latin Honor Society, receiving Latin honors.[3][4]

Kelly graduated from Harvard College in 2025, where he served on the Harvard Kennedy School's executive team and majored in government with a focus on American politics.[5] He dormed in Leverett House.[6] In 2023, he was elected vice president of the Harvard Institute of Politics.[7] In 2024, Kelly was co-president of Harvard Students for Harris, a get-out-the-vote organization campaigning for Kamala Harris.[8][9]

Career

In 2017, Kelly launched Let's Talk Elections, a YouTube channel covering political news, polling data and election analysis. As of August 2025, the channel has more than 223,000 subscribers.[10]

In 2024, Kelly worked on the social media team for Kamala Harris's presidential campaign, Kamala HQ.

Political positions

In the 2020 United States presidential election, he supported the Democratic ticket of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.[11] He has criticized US President Donald Trump.[12]

Personal life

Since graduating college in 2025, Kelly resides in Washington, D.C.

Kelly is gay.[13] He has shown his boyfriend in social media posts.
