In September 2022, DataGuard announced a €61 million Series B funding round led by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital alongside existing investor One Peak.[7]
Acquisitions and partnerships

- May 2019: Deutsche Telekom, a German telecommunications company.[8]
- March 2025: CIPS Informatica, an IT solutions provider in Italy. [9]
- June 2025: QBS Software, a software distributor operating in the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics.[10]
DataGuard has also acquired several businesses:
- April 2021: the UK consent and preference management platform MyLife Digital.[11]
- June 2024: the Swedish privacy SaaS provider DPOrganizer.[12]
