Bruce Goldsmith Design (BGD) is a European manufacturer of paragliders and paramotor wings. The company was founded in 2012 by competition pilot and designer Bruce Goldsmith, together with Arna Reynisdottir and Christoph Scheer.[1] Research and development is carried out in France, with logistics and distribution based in Austria.[2]

History

[edit]

BGD released its first paraglider, the Tala (EN-C), in 2013, followed by the Wasp (EN-B), the Luna paramotor wing, and the tandem Dual. In 2014 the school wing Adam (EN-A) was added to the range.[1]

Products

[edit]

BGD manufactures paragliders certified in EN A to EN D categories, as well as DGAC-certified paramotor wings. Independent reviews have described the company’s gliders as accessible and visually distinctive.[3][4]
