  • Comment: 9,000 employees and still presented as WP:ROTM reinforces the stereotype about accountants being boring. Surely this org must be notable? What have you missed? 🇵🇸‍🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦‍🇵🇸 22:05, 13 December 2025 (UTC)

Azets Holding Limited is a global accounting and advisory firm, headquartered in London, with more than 9,000 employees and 100,000 clients across 190 locations in 8 countries. Azets provides accounting, tax, payroll, audit and advisory services.[2][3] [4]

Azets was formed in 2018 by Hg Capital in response to the growing digitalisation of financial compliance processes for SMEs. [5] John Connolly, former CEO of Deloitte UK and founder of predecessor firm Cogital Group, attempted to purchase Azets for £1.5b in 2022 with Private Equity backing. [6]

Private equity firms Hg Capital and PAI partners hold a significant stake in Azets.[7] Azets is the eighth largest accounting firm in the UK by revenue. [8] In July 2025 the UK's Financial Reporting Council instigated an investigation into Azets' audits of collapsed FinTech firm Stenn.[9]

Azets has acquired over 90 firms, including Baker Tilly Ireland and KPMG Sweden's services for small companies, since it's inception with the aim of creating a scalable business model tailored to small and medium enterprises.[10][11] [12] Azets claims to be the largest provider of business-critcal services to SMEs in Northern Europe. [13] Azets subsidiary Campbell Dallas won 'Large firm of the year' in the Scottish Accountancy and Finance awards 2016. [14]

In December 2025 Azets UK unveiled plans to partner with hospitality companies to have trainees work in bars to improve their soft skills. [15]
