Delhi Crime is an Indian crime anthology series released on Netflix. Each season tells a different story based on real investigations by the Delhi Police. The series started on 22 March 2019 and became known for its realistic style and documentary-like presentation of police work. Season 3 was released in several countries in November 2025.[1]
Plot
[change | change source]Delhi Crime follows different police units in India’s capital as they work on real criminal cases. Season 3 begins with a small incident: an injured baby is found, and the mother is missing. The case quickly turns into a large investigation involving human trafficking networks. Deputy Commissioner Vartika Chaturvedi and her team follow leads into marriage markets in North India and into organised exploitation. Neeti and Bhupi investigate parallel tracks while facing political pressure. The antagonist Meena uses gaps in the system to protect her operations. The season focuses on slow, methodical police work and shows how difficult it is to fight well-hidden criminal groups.

Season 3 kept the slow and serious style, using minimal music and a documentary approach. Critics highlighted Shefali Shah’s performance and the tension created through small details rather than shock scenes. Many reviewers also noted that the story shows systemic problems without sensationalism.
