Cody Robert Simpson (born 11 January 1997) is an Australian singer, model, actor, and a former competitive swimmer.[3] He has released four solo studio albums: Paradise (2012), Surfers Paradise (2013), Free (2015), and Cody Simpson (2022). He also played Dmitry in the Broadway musical Anastasia from November 2018 through April 2019.[4]

In 2022, Simpson joined the Australian Swim Team after qualifying for the Commonwealth Games during Australia's team trials.[5] In June 2024, he retired from competitive swimming after failing to qualify for Paris Olympics.[6]
