Chemmad is a town and commercial hub of Tirurangadi in the Malappuram district of Kerala, India.
Geography
[edit]Chemmad is located approximately 7 km (4.3 mi) east of Parappanangadi railway station and falls under the jurisdiction of the Tirurangadi Police Station.
Education establishments
[edit]- KMMMO Arabic College, located on Parappanangadi–Chemmad Road, is an affiliated college of the University of Calicut offering BA programmes with modern infrastructure.[1][2][3]
- Darul Huda Islamic University (DHIU), founded in 1986 and upgraded to a university in 2009.[4][5]
