"Calling Elvis" is a 1991 song by British rock band Dire Straits and is the leading single from their sixth studio album On Every Street. It went to number 21 in the United Kingdom, number 8 in Germany, Australia and Austria, number 9 in New Zealand, number 2 in Switzerland, Portugal, Norway, Ireland and Belgium, number 1 in Italy and number 4 in the Netherlands and Finland. The song tells the story of Elvis Presley is still alive.
