Associate degree

An Associate Degree or Associate's degree is an Undergraduate Degree given after a course of post-secondary study lasting two to three years. It is above a High school Diploma and below a Bachelor's Degree.[1]
The first associate degrees were awarded in the United Kingdom in 1800s before spreading to the United States and Soviet Union in 1900s.
Australia along with New Zealand in 2000s and European Union countries.
