Area codes 812 and 930
Area codes 812 and 930 are telephone area codes in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) serving the state of Indiana in the United States. They cover the southern and south-central parts of the state, including cities such as Bloomington, Evansville, and Terre Haute. Area code 812 was created in 1947 as one of the original area codes assigned to Indiana. It was overlaid by 930 in 2015.
