Adachi (足立区, Adachi-ku) is one of the 23 special wards within Tokyo, Japan.^[1]

The municipality calls itself "Adachi City" in English.^[2]

Geography

Adachi is in northern Tokyo. It borders Arakawa on the south. Kita is on the ward's western border. Saitama Prefecture is on the norther border. Katsushika is on the east.
