6-7 (meme)

The 6-7 meme (pronounced "six seven"; also written as 67; 6 7; and 6, 7) is an Internet meme. The meme started in early 2025 on TikTok and Instagram Reels.[1] It comes from the lyric "6-7" in the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by Skrilla. This song was used in social media in video edits. The video edits showed professional basketball players like LaMelo Ball who is 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 meters) tall.[2][3][4] The term "6-7" became popular as slang Generation Alpha and Generation Z.[5][6] In the summer of 2025, a boy became known as the "6-7 Kid" after a viral video showed him saying the word at an Amateur Athletic Union basketball game.[7][8] The move he did when he said 67 became popular as well. This move is moving your hands and switching between them being up and down with your palms always being up.
