ਬਨਗ਼ਾਜ਼ੀ /bɛnˈɡɑːzi/[note 1] (ਅਰਬੀ: بنغازي ਬਨਗ਼ਾਜ਼ੀ) ਲੀਬੀਆ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ, ਸਿਰੇਨਾਈਕਾ ਖੇਤਰ (ਜਾਂ ਪੂਰਵਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ) ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਆਰਜ਼ੀ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਵਲੀ ਆਰਜ਼ੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਹੈ।[11] ਵਡੇਰਾ ਮਹਾਂਨਗਰੀ ਇਲਾਕਾ (ਜਿਹਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਮੀਨਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਲੂਕ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਨਗਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ) ਲੀਬੀਆ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਬੰਦਰਗਾਹੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਭੂ-ਮੱਧ ਸਾਗਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ।
