If you message me here, i will reply here, as that is the logical place, keeping the conversation in one place; in replying, i will ping you, in case you haven't watched this page.
Clarification
If it happens that you have come here thinking you were going to talk with a user called Kahtar, you should know that i am also Kahtar; i use that account to make semi-automated edits, and don't watch the talk page. Feel free to write here, instead.
Hello WWII Guy456, and welcome to you! The simplest answer i can give it to suggest you follow the link i'll give you and read and follow the directions there: WP:YFA. You'll find all sorts of information and help there. If that's not enough, or if i can help in another way, please feel free to ask here ~ LindsayHello10:05, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I just posted a question to the John Mulaney talk page regarding an updated image. When you have the time, can you review and give us some pointers?
Hello DessHolliday, welcome! I'm not certain what sort of pointers you are looking for; you have asked (seconded) a question on that talk page, and the ideal now is to wait and see if anyone has such an image ~ or look actively yourself for a free image of this person and add it to the page. I note that there is a second conversation currently going on there, i haven't followed it up really, though it seems at least tangentially related; i would suggest that Soetermans is a very experienced editor and worth listening to.
Hmm, in case that wasn't helpful, i will repeat the most important thing i wrote in its own paragraph: This is the "DIY encyclopaedia", so i urge you to see if you can find an appropriate free image of John Mulaney to update the page with.
I would like to point your attention to our account naming policy, as i suspect your name may be contrary to it. I suggest you read the policy at WP:U, particularly the sections at WP:ORGNAME, WP:REALNAME, and WP:MISLEADNAME. It is not impossible for you to edit, though you should probably request a change to the account's name (that can be done at WP:RENAME if you decide to do so. I am adding this both to my talk page (here), where you edited, and to yours, where you'll get a notification. If i can help, please ask ~ LindsayHello11:00, 14 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I have 3 questions about how to reference correctly.
I am going to add Lemon Demon's album View Monster to the page "List of albums with tracks hidden in the pregap" and I was wondering:
1: Does Wikipedia allow Fandom.com to be used as a reference, all the information is correct, I just don't know if Fandom is in a "Website not to use" list.
2: There is this video ("ALL ABOUT LEMON DEMON'S VIEW MONSTER") and I don't know if I am allowed to use videos like this that have strong language, again however, I can vouch that this video is fully correct in all the information it gives.
3. Does "Date Retrieved" mean what I think it means, the date when you added the reference onto the article?
The process will have a seven day call for candidates phase, a two day pause, a five day discussion phase, and a seven day private vote using SecurePoll. Discussion and questions are only allowed on the candidate pages during the discussion phase.
The outcome of this process is identical to making a request for adminship. There is no official difference between an administrator appointed through RFA versus administrator elections.
Ask any questions about the process at the talk page. Later, a user talk message will be sent to official candidates with additional information about the process.
If you are interested in the process, please make sure to watchlist the appropriate pages. A watchlist notice will be added when the discussion phase opens, and again when the voting phase opens.

On December 9, we will start the voting phase. The candidate subpages will close to public questions and discussion, and everyone will have a week to use the SecurePoll software to vote, which uses a secret ballot. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote totals cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's totals during the election. You must be extended confirmed to vote.
Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which typically lasts between a couple days and a week. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the results page (you may want to watchlist this page) and transcluded to the main election page. In order to be granted adminship, a candidate who has not been recalled must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose), and must also have received a minimum of 20 support votes. A candidate that has been recalled must have at least 55.0% support. Because this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ("crat chats").
Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Mahwah High School, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Hello HydroMaker2. Not clear exactly what you're asking so i'll answer what i assume: How to start an article? Your best bet is to look at WP:YFA, which has all sorts of guidance for new editors such as yourself. If this is not answering the question you meant, please feel free to ask me more, i'm happy to help if it can ~ LindsayHello21:13, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
