Mahayana
[edit]While I applaud your bravery, and indeed most of what you recently wrote about Tantra in the Mahayana, there are (self-nominated) “Hinayana Tantra” traditions in and around Nepal and other areas - I met some of them! (20040302 (talk))
- Indeed, there is also an entire Esoteric Theravada tradition. However, this is not relevant to that article since that article is specifically about Mahayana. ☸Javierfv1212☸
usnisa vijaya dharani
[edit]hello. this is a important mantra for me but now most info is wipe out of wiki. I still can find the tibetan canon ver. but can't find the long Chinese transliterate ver. I search all your change in wiki history but can't find it anymore, I don't know but since you and someone else make change it disappear. Do you know any info about it? still see it in 2024 I defind only long ver. dharani is the most exact version because in usnisa sutra (china ver.)
it was translated by a monk from the original Sanskrit in modern times. it has 7 om syllables. so the short version that is being circulated is nonsense and completely wrong, it has been truncated so it has no magical effect. what I need is the benefits of the mantra, the long Chinese version and then compare it with the versions to restore the original. I am looking for the Tibetan 9 om version but I can't because the material is in the Japanese book that Hidas studied. I can't find any pdf book file online based on the reference source. By the way I am a researcher of Buddhism mantras (self reconize).
Note: I don't talk english good nor want to correct it Lolvatveo (talk) 03:31, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
- Looks like another user removed them. I restored the most well known Chinese edition. Javier F.V. 12:38, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
