N-dashes

[edit]

Hi. Please remember to separate dates (for example dates in short descriptions) with n-dashes, rather than hyphens. -- Ssilvers (talk) 03:57, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I thought that editing short descriptions does that automatically, but apparently not? Maybe it's something that's present on Shortdesc helper but not present on mobile Wikipedia? --MtPenguinMonster (talk) 07:45, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not change optional citation styles in existing articles unless there is a consensus among editors on the page to do so. See MOS:CITEVAR. More generally, see MOS:VAR. -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:35, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I was not aware of MOS:CITEVAR. Thank you for informing me. --MtPenguinMonster (talk) 02:00, 10 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
