About me

Everyone has been made for some particular work and the desire for that work has been put in every heart. ~Rumi.

Hello and welcome to my userpage! I am the Wikipedian Pixarh, a very content and helpful and obviously curious Wikipedian! I am a simple student of life. I have spent most of my life studying mysticism and fortunately today, I have much knowledge about a mysticism, spirituality, tasawwuf or whatever you would like to call it in your own way. I keep contributing to subjects that most impress me though Islamic mysticism is my specialty. I love creating and editing articles.

The Wikiworld

[edit]

I have always wanted to write in books and encyclopedias. So contributing to Wikipedia is a great pleasure. I have always enjoyed fixing up whatever errors possible, expanding stubs, and so on. A Wikipedian is always busy with editing, writing, fixing articles, and taking care of the policies. I am one such Wikipedian. Should you require my input in an article, feel free to message me on my talk page.

Love is the bridge between you and everything. ~ Rumi.

If you get bored, you can always let fate guide your reading.

The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne
The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne is an oil-on-panel painting by Leonardo da Vinci, painted around 1501 to 1519. It depicts Saint Anne, her daughter the Virgin Mary, and the infant Jesus. Christ is shown grappling with a sacrificial lamb on the edge of a precipice, symbolizing his Passion. It is likely that the painting was commissioned by King Louis XII of France following the birth of his daughter Claude in 1499, but it was never delivered to him. Leonardo explored incorporating these figures together through preparatory works including the Burlington House Cartoon, now in the National Gallery, London, and a drawing which resides in the Louvre, Paris. The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne is also in the Louvre.Painting credit: Leonardo da Vinci

There is one tip I would give to all Wikipedians: Please use the "Edit summary" box at the bottom of the edit field. No matter what you're doing. Providing a summary can make all the difference in the world to someone reviewing changes.
