Usage
[change source]This template will add tagged articles to Category:Articles to be split. Please use the date=January 2026 parameter to sort the article by month.
To use this template in a section, specify this using section=y.
To specify where the discussion is taking place, use discuss=Talk:Article name#Talk page section. Otherwise the entire talk page is linked.
For example, to place this in a section of the article Wikipedia, use {{split-apart|section=y|discuss=Talk:Wikipedia#Section|date=January 2026}} to produce:
