The mention of Savvas Learning Company as a "subsidiary of Pearson Education" is factually inaccurate and needs to be deleted. Savvas Learning Company was never a subsidiary of Pearson Education.  As the references linked to on the Pearson Wikipedia page explain, Pearson sold its US-based K-12 learning division to Nexus Capital Management in 2019. After becoming an independent company, the new business rebranded in May 2020 as Savvas Learning Company. Thus, Savvas never existed as part of or a subsidiary of Pearson. Furthermore, the section that references Savvas on the Pearson Wikipedia page does not mention anything about Savvas being a subsidiary. See below:

"In 2019, Pearson sold its US K-12 courseware business to the private equity firm Nexus Capital Management,[32][33] which rebranded it as Savvas Learning Company.[34][35] " Nishwinsthomas (talk) 06:12, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't mentioned anywhere in Pearson Education that "Savvas Learning Company" is its subsidiary. A redirect doesn't always mean a subsidiary. IMO this is a perfectly good redirect, assuming that you agree with the statement that you've quoted at the end. If not, you should take this redirect to WP:RFD. Blanking it is not the way to get it deleted. Happy editing. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 06:37, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like you want to convert the redirect into an article for which you already have a draft. Don't worry about that then. If/when your draft is submitted to AfC and then accepted by a reviewer there, they will do what is necessary to delete the redirect and move the draft there. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 06:40, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
