Ghost concert chronology

Skeletour is a concert tour by the Swedish rock band Ghost, in support of their sixth studio album, Skeletá. The tour began on 15 April 2025 in Manchester, England, and is currently ongoing.

Background

[edit]

The tour was officially announced in October 2024 through the band's website and press outlets.[1][2] The band had also confirmed that more shows would be announced for the tour.[3] The band's sixth studio album, Skeletá, was announced in March 2025, and was later released the following month on 25 April.[4]

The tour brought in a "No Phone" policy to provide a phone-free environment for the concerts, in which attendees were to put their phones and digital recording devices into pouches provided by Yondr.[5] In an interview with Blabbermouth.net, Forge gave his reason for implementing the policy, stating: "I just know one thing, and that is that over the years it's gone absolutely insane. If you have 10,000 people at a concert and 8,000 of them are holding a phone, there's something deeply disconnected",[6] as the band could not stage their shows in the style and vision they wanted without deep audience participation.[7]

Following the two Mexico City shows, the band revealed on 26 September 2025 that the two shows were filmed for a future concert film.[8] A second North American leg for the Skeletour was later announced three days later, on 29 September 2025, for January to February 2026.[9]
