DDR6 SDRAM is the future series of DDR SDRAM and has a target of 2027. It will have a speed of 8,800–17,600 MT/s.[2] It will also have four memory channels, and a bandwidth up to 134.4 GB/s.[3] It may also possibly have 4×24-bit sub-channel architecture.[4]
Efficiency
[edit]It will have CAMM2 form factor for efficiency, especially for laptops and compact devices.[4] It will also have Decision Feedback Equalization.[5]
