Area codes 845 and 329 are area codes for New York. It was created on June 5, 2000 as a split from 914. It covers counties such as Rockland, Putnam, Delaware, Orange, Sullivan, and Columbia. It was overlaid by 329 on March 24, 2023 due to the exhaustion of telephone numbers for the 845 area code.[1]
